After a sell-out arena tour, English rock band, Elbow, are back on the road and Belfast is on the map as they confirm a headline show at the Waterfront Hall on 29 March 2020.
Brit award winners Elbow are an English rock band formed in Bury in 1997. The band, headed up by Guy Garvey, have played together since 1990 and been chart-topping successes with seven singles hitting the Top 40 UK Singles chart. With seven albums under their belt, their upcoming album Giants of All Sizes is already receiving rave reviews with NME praising its 'bluesy swagger' and Clash heralding its ‘lucid grooves melded to an ominous atmosphere’.
This tour will see the band bringing their play back through the discography of all the greatest hits, and bringing the sounds of their latest album live to the stage of Waterfront Hall.
“It’s an angry, old blue lament which finds its salvation in family, friends, the band and new life,” Guy Garvey
They are Brit pop royalty and their gig in Belfast will be nothing short of remarkable, adding to those #IWasThereWhen moments you carry with you.
