Katie Melua is going on tour and the Closest Thing to Crazy star is stopping off at Belfast’s Ulster Hall on 23 November 2020.
Born in the Georgian city of Kutaisi, Katie and her family emigrated to our very own city, Belfast when she was nine years old where she lived for three years until the age of twelve.
With aspirations to be a historian or politician, her career path soon took a turn into the world of singing when, at the age of fifteen, she won a contest on ITV’s Stars Up Their Noses (a spoof of Stars in Their Eyes). It was clear from a young age that her voice would take her far.
Today, Katie is a multi award-winning recording artist with seven studio albums to her name.
One of the UK’s highest-selling female recording artists of all time!
Katie Melua is going on a 45 date tour and stopping off for just one night in the city she grew up in. Don’t miss what is set to be an incredible night with all of her top hits from Nine Millions Bicycles to What a Wonderful World.
