MTK Fight Night is back for another night in Belfast’s own Home of Boxing, the Ulster Hall, on 01 February 2020. Will Sean McComb retain his title?
Having sold the venue out several times in 2019, #MTKFightNight returns to Ulster Hall to kick off its 2020 events schedule with a mouth-watering bill starring some of the hottest prospects in Irish boxing.
The city’s very own undefeated super-lightweight Sean ‘The Public Nuisance’ McComb (9-0, 4 KOs) takes another significant step up in level against experienced Argentinian Mauro Maximiliano Godoy (32-5-1, 17 KOs) as he bids to tee up title shots later in the year.
Mullingar’s Davey Oliver Joyce (11-1, 8 KOs) bids to become a two-weight WBO European king when he faces former world champion Lee Haskins (36-4, 14 KOs), while there’s also an Irish title cracker on the cards as unbeaten lightweights Gary Cully (Naas) and Joe Fitzpatrick (Belfast) go at it.
A packed undercard features some of the best emerging talent from Belfast and beyond with Steven Donnelly, Padraig McCrory, Ruari Dalton, Pierce O’Leary, Taylor McGoldrick, Callum Bradley, Sean Duffy, Dee Sullivan and more in action.
