Status Quo are the country's best-loved rock band and they are going back on the road to reclaim their position on the live circuit, playing at the Waterfront Hall on 05 October 2020.
Founded in 1962 by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster, Status Quo went on to release over, more than any other rock band, including fan favourites Rocking All Over The World, Whatever You Want and In The Army Now.
Worthy recipients of the 'Outstanding Contribution to Music' Brit award, Status Quo are hitting the road again. They will be touring a brand new set including not only all the classics spanning their five decade career, but also songs from the first album not to feature the late great Rick Parfitt; some being played live for the first time ever, ‘Backbone’ demonstrates a refocusing and a sharpening of the creative edge.
"We can’t wait to get out there in 2020 on a proper Status Quo tour and play all the classics, plus some of these new songs for the first time.” Francis Rossi
The ‘Backbone’ tour will be the return of the quintessential live rock act and the must-have ticket for any rock lover.
