This show will now take place on 21 December 2023.
Statement below released by Ulster Orchestra:
Sadly, following the death of our dear colleague Michele Strong, we have taken the difficult decision to reschedule Wednesday’s Magic of Christmas concert as a mark of respect and duty of care to our musicians and staff. Michele was Sub-Principal Double Bass for over 37 years and will be sorely missed as a valued member of the Orchestra. She was a truly lovely person whose contribution was never-ending.
This popular, magical concert returns to ease you into the festive spirit. Conductor Alfonso Casado Trigo will lead the orchestra and Belfast Philharmonic Choir in an entertaining night for the whole family that is guaranteed to help you forget the present-wrapping and turkey-stuffing and fill you with Christmas joy!
Enjoy an enchanting programme of Christmas and movie classics including White Christmas, O Holy Night, All I want for Christmas and more…
