The Education Authority’s Music (Dundonald) Service is delighted to return to the Ulster Hall on 10 December 2025, for their annual Christmas Concert.
The concert will feature the SE Youth Orchestra along with bands and orchestras from North Down/Castlereagh and Lisburn/Down areas. Alongside favourite Christmas carols and festive tunes, the programme will include well-known music from television, theatre and film. This event is one of the highlights of our calendar and marks the start of the festive season for many of our families.
With around 260 young musicians aged 7–18 representing dozens of local schools, the concert showcases the dedication and talent of children and young people who travel each week for rehearsals led by experienced conductors and tutors. Supported by their parents and families, these students have prepared a programme full of energy, warmth, and festive cheer!
Come to the Ulster Hall on Wednesday 10 December for an evening of joyful music-making and enjoy celebrating the achievements of our young musicians in one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic venues.
