Teenage Kicks 2026 is coming to Ulster Hall on 08 June 2026!
Teenage Kicks returns in 2026 with an electrifying celebration of youth, movement and wellbeing at one of Belfast’s most iconic venues. Delivered as part of Belfast City Council’s ongoing commitment to keeping young people active, the programme champions physical fitness, long-term health and positive mental wellbeing—an especially meaningful focus as Belfast marks its recognition as a European Year of Sport and continues its journey as a Healthy City.
This year, more than 200 young performers from Belmont Infants, Harberton, Glenveagh, Mercy College and Holy Trinity will take to the stage, celebrating the 18th year of this inspiring initiative. Since its inception, Teenage Kicks has empowered over 4,000 children, and the annual showcase has become a much-anticipated highlight that kicks off the new Lord Mayor’s year in spectacular style.
Guided by expert tuition and the infectious energy of Freddy Kinnersley—better known as “Fitness Freddy”participants build confidence, resilience and self-belief through dynamic dance sessions. The programme culminates in a show-stopping live performance, where these young stars light up the Ulster Hall stage in front of a packed audience. Expect high energy, big smiles and a truly unforgettable, roof-raising experience.
