Join Teenage Kicks, because health is wealth, at the Ulster Hall on 19 June 2025!
The Teenage Kicks dance initiative is part Belfast City Council’s drive to encourage young people to be more active, look after their long-term health and support good mental health. This year 200 young people from, Belmont Infants, Harberton, Glenveagh, Mercy College, Holy Trinity and Girls Model take to the stage at the Ulster Hall celebrating the 17th year of the programme.
The children take part in a programme of energetic dance tuition with support from Freddy Kinnersley, affectionately known as “Fitness Freddy”. Throughout the programme their confidence and self-esteem grow enough to have the courage to perform on stage in the Ulster Hall in front of a packed house. A roof raising performance is guaranteed.
