Globally revered Irish artist Imelda May brings her Raised on Songs & Stories tour to Ulster Hall on 16 February 2026!
Globally revered Irish artist Imelda May has announced her “Raised on Songs & Stories” tour across Ireland in February 2026, with tickets on sale Friday, October 17th at 9am. This intimate series will feature stripped-back versions of her songs alongside her famed poetry and storytelling.
Imelda says:
I’m coming to you soon! It’ll be an evening of songs, poems, stories, joy and beauty.
This idea evolved naturally — I wanted to create a space where anything can happen, where I can share the stories behind the songs and reconnect with fans in a truly spontaneous way.”
Also coming soon to RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player, Imelda presents and executive produces Amhráin na nGael, Imelda May: The Songs of the Irish, a six-part series exploring Ireland’s great music collectors. Travelling across the Gaeltacht, she delves into the emotional power of sean-nós singing and her relationship with the Irish language.
Born and raised in The Liberties, Dublin, Imelda is one of Ireland’s most celebrated artists. Her breakthrough album Love Tattoo (2008) remains the best-selling album by a homegrown female artist, while 11 Past the Hour (2021) became her fourth Irish No.1. She’s collaborated with legends like Jeff Beck, Bono, and Ronnie Wood, toured worldwide, and recently starred as Pierce Brosnan’s wife in Four Letters of Love. A true creative force, Imelda continues to captivate audiences through music, poetry, theatre, and film.
