The Belfast Blitz concert commemorates the 85th anniversary in Waterfront Hall on 21 March 2026.
THE BELFAST BLITZ concert commemorates the 85th anniversary of the Luftwaffe's deadly assault on Belfast between 7th April and 6th May 1941, and the courageous response of its citizens, as described in Dr Brian Barton's bestselling book.
Hosted by UTV's popular news anchor, PAUL CLARK MBE, the concert comprises of period and contemporary music, to be performed by THE BAND, BUGLES, PIPES & DRUMS of the ROYAL IRISH REGIMENT, accompanied by talented local artistes, to include popular soloists, CLARA WILSON BEM, DIANA CULBERTSON, SOPHIE FRENCH and well known operatic tenor, RYAN WALLACE.
All proceeds from the show, which is sponsored by the ARMY BENEVOLENT FUND will go to aid soldiers, army veterans and their families in times of need.
