As the festive period brings thousands of visitors through the doors of Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall, the venues are sharing a friendly reminder across their social channels, website, and throughout the buildings to help keep the atmosphere positive, welcoming, and enjoyable for all.
Director of Events & Customer Experience, Charlie McCloskey, highlighted the importance of supporting staff and respecting the live event experience:
“Christmas is one of our busiest and brightest times of the year. Our teams work incredibly hard to make every show special, and a bit of respect goes a long way.
Whether you’re coming for a concert, a comedy night, or a festive family show, we just ask everyone to look out for each other, look after the venues, and help us keep the experience top-class. Do that, and we’ll all have the craic together.”
To help ensure smooth-running events during the festive rush, the venues are encouraging customers to keep these simple reminders in mind:
RESPECT THE STAFF
They’re here to help and to make the night enjoyable for everyone.
RESPECT THE PERFORMERS
Give them your attention, they’re giving you theirs. Please use the restroom and bar facilities before the show.
PHONES ON SILENT
Let’s keep interruptions to a minimum so everyone can enjoy the show.
RESPECT THE VENUE
These halls are part of Belfast’s musical heritage, please treat them with care.
RESPECT YOURSELF & OTHERS
Be mindful, be kind, and help make the night great for everyone around you.
These reminders will be displayed across digital screens, signage, and online platforms throughout the Christmas season, helping staff, supporting performers, and ensuring that every visitor enjoys their time at Belfast’s most iconic venues.
