Together with sister venues ICC Belfast and Waterfront Hall, Ulster Hall has launched a partnership with the  JAM Card programme. JAM, which stands for Just A Minute, is a concept developed by social enterprise NOW Group, that supports customers to communicate their accessibility needs discreetly.

The announcement follows several accessibility enhancements at the venue to support increased participation and deliver on its values as a venue that celebrates diversity and champions inclusivity.

With over 80% of team members across all venues now JAM Card trained, the team at Ulster Hall Hall recognise the importance of supporting patrons with hidden disabilities and communication barriers, with the JAM Card partnership allowing team members to be better equipped to provide a more inclusive space and service for customers.

With 1 in 5 people in Northern Ireland living with a disability, this is just one of the measures that Ulster Hall is taking to become a more accessible venue for customers.
