What are the charities?
PPR:
Participation and the Practice of Rights (PPR) is a small human rights NGO with a big vision: to turn international human rights standards into grassroots tools for economic, social and environmental change.
From a small pilot project founded by Inez McCormack in Belfast and Dublin in 2006, PPR now works with a growing network of communities across Ireland using human rights as tools for change.
Anaka Women’s Collective:
They are raising funds to support people who have been attacked, displaced and traumatised in racist attacks in Belfast.
Every penny raised will go to transport, emergency accommodation and urgent supplies for families.
Any remaining funds will be used to towards sustaining and developing the emergency response and solidarity groups that acted around the clock to ensure families were not alone.
