The World Snooker 2024 NI Open returns to the Waterfront Hall, Belfast 20 to 27 October 2024

The Waterfront Hall has established itself as one of the sport’s premier venues, with the lively Belfast audience providing a unique snooker experience for players and fans alike.

Some of snooker’s top stars have triumphed in Belfast, with the likes of Mark Williams, Judd Trump and Mark Allen all previous winners of the Alex Higgins Trophy.

Home hero Allen is a two-time winner of the event and was part of one of the greatest finals in recent years, when he defeated John Higgins 9-8 amid a rapturous atmosphere in 2021. England’s Trump is the most successful player in the tournament’s history, having captured three consecutive titles between 2018 and 2020.

Tickets for certain sessions of the 2023 event sold out in advance and fans are urged to act quickly if they wish to avoid disappointment this time around.
