Head Chef and Seed Co-Founder Stephen Beaddie, better known as Chef Stevie B, is set to launch Plate Up with Stevie B, two standalone live events that combine food, nutrition, conversation and practical cooking, designed to help people cook better, eat better and feel better in the new year.
Taking place at Waterfront Hall, the live shows will run on 12 February and 11 April 2026.
More than a traditional cooking demonstration, Stevie blends live cooking with expert conversation, audience insight and practical takeaways that people can use immediately in everyday life, with each show built around Stevie’s philosophy that healthy food should be full of flavour, enjoyable and sustainable, regardless of how busy life gets.
The events are aimed at anyone looking to improve their lifestyle and cooking habits, from food lovers and busy professionals to those interested in health, wellbeing and performance.
Stephen Beaddie is a Co. Armagh-based chef known for making healthy food taste exceptional. With a strong background in nutrition, he has built a large and fast-growing online community around simple cooking, big flavour and sustainable food habits.
Show One, Plate Up for Flavour, focuses on how to make healthy food genuinely delicious. The evening will be hosted by Annette Kelly, wellbeing coach, speaker and co-founder of Little Penny Thoughts. Audiences can expect vibrant dishes, humour and practical advice that can be taken straight into the home kitchen.
Show Two, Plate Up for Performance, explores high-flavour meals that fuel strength, focus and recovery, without overcomplicating nutrition. Guest speakers include Tony O’Neill and Jen Curran, founders of Tony & Jen’s. Tony brings straight-talking performance nutrition, while Jen adds creativity, flavour and healthy snack demonstrations. Additional special guests will also feature on the night.
Speaking ahead of the event, Chef Stephen Beaddie said:
“I’m incredibly excited to bring Plate Up to Belfast and finally share this experience live with the community that’s grown online over the years. These shows are about flavour, real life and giving people the confidence to cook food they enjoy, without overcomplicating things.
Turning those everyday conversations into a live, interactive event at the Waterfront Hall feels special, and I can’t wait to meet people in person, get cooking and have some fun together.
Rob McConnell, Chief Executive, ICC Belfast, Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall said:
Plate Up with Stevie B is exactly the kind of live experience that resonates with audiences today – engaging, practical and firmly rooted in real life.
By bringing together food, nutrition and honest conversation in an accessible and enjoyable way, these events go beyond entertainment, offering insight and inspiration that audiences can take straight into everyday life. We’re proud to see the Waterfront Hall provide the stage that will engage, inform and leave a lasting impact for the people of Northern Ireland.”
