Every legendary venue has a story to tell. At the Ulster Hall, those stories span more than 160 years of unforgettable performances, iconic artists and music history.
Now, thanks to two talented Belfast creatives, fans can take a piece of that history home.
The exclusive Ulster Hall merchandise collection is more than a range of souvenirs. From limited-edition tote bags crafted from the venue's original stage drapes to heritage-inspired artwork featured on posters, bags and T-shirts, every item has been designed to celebrate the legacy of Belfast's Home of Rock 'n' Roll.
Giving the Stage Drapes a Second Act
When Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall's original drapes were replaced during refurbishment works, the team saw an opportunity to preserve a piece of the venue's history rather than send the fabric to landfill.
Marie Nancarrow, founder of Titanic Denim (RESCUED).
A multi-award-winning sustainable designer, who specialises in transforming reclaimed textiles into beautifully handcrafted products. After learning that the historic drapes were due to be replaced, she gave them a new purpose, creating a collection of unique tote bags, each handmade from the original drapes.
No two bags are the same, with every piece retaining the character, texture and history of the material that once framed countless performances on Ulster Hall and Waterfront Hall stage.
“This is a really good demonstration of how to take unused material and give it a new life.”
For Marie, the project perfectly reflects Titanic Denim's commitment to sustainability while preserving a piece of Belfast's cultural heritage for future generations.

Bringing Ulster Hall Story to Life
Alongside the handcrafted bags, Belfast illustrator Thomas Bannon created the exclusive artwork featured across the merchandise collection, including the tote bags, T-shirts and limited-edition posters.
Thomas's illustrations celebrate the iconic façade of Ulster Hall while paying tribute to the artists and performances that have shaped its remarkable history.
But look closely and you'll discover there is more than first meets the eye.
Hidden throughout the artwork are subtle references and hidden gems inspired by the Hall's rich musical past, including a tribute to Led Zeppelin's legendary 1971 performance. One of the most iconic concerts ever staged in Belfast.
This artwork has been designed to tell a story, inviting music lovers to discover something new every time they look.

Whether it's a tote bag handcrafted from the venue's original stage drapes, an Ulster Hall t-shirt or a poster celebrating decades
of legendary performances, every piece in the limited-edition collection represents a collaboration between local designers, sustainable craftsmanship and Ulster Hall’s iconic heritage.
